Faster, sharper canvas
- Metal-backed canvas rendering makes zooming, panning and moving objects more responsive.
- Shapes, text and vector paths stay sharp as you zoom in.
- Dense vector artwork reuses unchanged rendering while you select, move and edit objects.
Editable vector artwork
- Import SVG, EPS and Illustrator artwork as editable layers, with expanded support for gradients, gradient meshes, masks and clipping.
- Edit anchors and Bézier handles directly on the canvas with Direct Selection. Add paths with the Pen tool and refine their appearance in the inspector.
- Join, split, reverse, open and close contours, or smooth and remove anchors.
- Ungroup folders without deleting their child layers.
- Canvas assistants and external MCP clients share the vector geometry, appearance, mask and Ungroup tools.
Precision design tools
- Set corner radii together or adjust each corner independently.
- Add background blur to create glass panels over your artwork.
- Check text contrast across the document and review suggested improvements.
- Measure rendered text, apply layout grids and import inline SVG through assistant tools.
Artboards and workspace
- Select multiple artboards, copy and paste complete artboards, and move them together.
- Double-click an artboard name to rename it inline. Artboard settings update immediately.
- Navigate with the expandable minimap and Center on the main artboard cluster at 100% zoom.
- Narrow windows keep the editor controls usable, with more compact layer rows.
- Cut selected objects with ⌘X, undo while editing text, and close a new-canvas tab with ⌘W.
- Improved project saving for documents with many editable layers.
Canvas assistants
- Provider, model, Stop and Send controls now live inside a unified composer.
- Smooth breathing rainbow light makes working sessions easier to spot.
- Conversation history has clearer grouping, search recovery and empty states.
Requirements: Apple silicon and macOS 15 or later. Canvas assistants use an installed, signed-in ChatGPT or Claude CLI.
